javelina

Left the fence open on the OtherSide of my garden last night. Its a bit outside my property where I’ve grow bags of lettuce and peppers and potatoes and the last of the tomatoes.  The javelina rooted out the lettuce, ate the last of the tomatoes, finished the bell peppers, and pulled out the already dying potato foliage. Left the chard ?  And took one bite  out of a cayenne and left the rest alone!  There are lettuce in the greenhouse that need bigger pots so will refresh the soil out there and transplant.  Need to put up some screening around the plants though as the squirrels and rabbits have been getting up there and munching out too.

Mild winter is in the forecast, so preparing for winter growing
