fall planting

The new allium bed is in!  Still has to be fenced in to keep the critters from digging it all up, but the basics are there, complete with soaker hose and planted bulbs:  22 Siskiyou purple garlic, 25 Persian Star, 6 shallots (commercial prepackaged bag from the local nursery, one is soft) and 45 white onions.

Then I also got some broccoli in the ground.  Javelinas had gotten into the garden and did in all my earlier seedlings.  These were bought at the nursery too.  For some reason do better with their seedlings (green comet) than with those started in the greenhouse
