first completed project

This was basically a one skein wonder.  The yarn found at goodwill.  Wouldn’t mind a nice sweater/coat made with this one!

Knitted to a size, then “tapered” the piece for the fold over flap.  A nice cheap kilt pin picked up at a thrift shop is the “weight”.  Had tried to knit a strap, but wasn’t quite enough yarn left so crocheted a strap, taking it up one side, then across, then down again for extra support.  Maybe I’ll keep it as is, or maybe I’ll add a lining so I can use it as a real purse.  Finished size is about 10″ x 10″
