more soup

actually, this was 7 bottles of chicken stock.  Make a lot of basic soups/stock for the winter. Soups are a mainstay of our diet, and good hearty stock is a great base for making a quick soup from our left overs. Throw in a starch (rice/potato), left over meat and veggies. Soup’s on the table.  My canner will only handle about 7 quart jars, which is okay, as my stock pot will only make about this much stock at a time.  Right now, am working on another batch of stock for another 6 or 7 quarts.  Will also make more pea and lentil soup before the summer is over as well as some bean soup.  Sounds like a lot for 2 people? it will all get eaten, although some will go as gifts to friends who are on low budgets.
