Pulled all the roma’s. 13 plants, 6 in the ground, the rest in 3 containers. One was in the main garden and had just started producing fruit, but at this point, was overwhelming/being overwhelmed by the other tomato plants. So out it went. Have here some 4 lbs of green tomatoes. Not all are Roma’s, there are a couple of small box car Willie’s here that were too small to do much in the next month. need at least 6 lbs to make my green tomato relish.
The previous post dealt with the ripe roma’s.
And the yellowish slicing tomatoes, actually were/are an orangeish tomato, not red! Haven’t tried them yet for flavor.
