maybe frost

Here in the high desert of Arizona a winter storm is supposed to blow through tonight.  Snow levels to 6500 feet (2000 feet higher than I am), but it does make a strong possibility of frost tonight.  October 15 is supposed to our first frost date, but decided not to take a chance, and harvested as much as I could. If it warms up again and more comes in, great. Would rather that, than wake up tomorrow and say ****, should have picked it while I could.

spaghetti squash , lots of peppers including bell, banana, and anaheims, striped romas, 2 eggplant and one zuchinni, some bush beans.  didn’t worry about the chard.  THere is still ONE single winter squash out there.  the cool won’t hurt it, and if it doesn’t come, it can use the extra grow time.
