busy weekend

As the weather cools, the menu changes, and soups gain in popularity.  SPent the last few days finishing up the canning for the winter.  added to our stash of chicken  and lentil soups, plus plain stock, are squash soup stock, and more split pea soup.  plus canned up some corned beef hash.  and one can of beef bits as dog food to fill up the canner.

Have also dried some beef and chicken for dog treats. along with some grapes that were stashed in the fridge and forgotten.  am going to make some granola tomorrow. but first have to clean the oven from the mess made when roasting the squash for soup.
