Was rummaging around the pantry yesterday and found a jar of red beans that was going moldy.  Admit, have not been checking my canned goods.  Found another jar of beans that had a failed sealed, so out they went.  Have to check everything else.

On another note, had done some corned beef hash. even though I’d soaked the corned beef first, it was still too salty.  So had to boil the salt out of the stuff before it could be cooked. But that worked fine. Nothing beats low fat corned beef hash.

The t’day turkey carcass, along with two other that were in the freezer, are now in the stock pot.  Will can that stock tomorrow (along with making some turkey soup). Have some nice beef chuck to make beef stock also, so will have a full canner.
