chairside knitting lamp

IMG_1065 (600x800) Knit and Read in a nice Lazyboy chair.  WIDE arms, not enough light to see well.  Small gooseneck lamp didn’t quite work. By the time I’d adjusted it to bring light to the work, it was stretched out and fell over.  At the thrift shop found a weighted something or other.  $1.  Caulked base of lamp to weight.  Now its just a bit higher, and I can stretch that lamp all over the place without danger of falling over.  PLUS there is a place to hold pens, needles, scissors, etc.  Oh yeah, so I’m not burning myself, did splurge on an LED lamp.

$1 for weighted base, $7 for lamp itself, $10 for LED bulb, being able to knit and read comfortably – Priceless!
