basil butter


IMG_0073around here, this is how we save the basil, rather than as pesto.  hand chopped, softened butter, a little oil.  a touch of salt if its sweet butter.  Then it can be added to eggs, as well as pasta or rice, or other foods, even on some bread with a sandwich.  Some will be saved in oil for adding to salads.  the Garlic is added where appropriate
