Peeked into the hive earlier, and see the comb is golden colored, looks like there are capped honey cells in there – although hard to tell. Have been keeping the feeder going, about a pint a week. On mild days like today they are busy taking from the feeder and exploring. When its cold, they stay inside and use their stores. A day like today allows them to replenish those stores.
We start having blooms by mid-late february, so we’re doing well at the hive.
