might as well be spring

Had ordered a fig, a pomegranate and some blueberry bushes from Bay Laurel Nursery.  Not cheap, but now I see the size of the plants they sent in, not really too expensive other.IMG_0563 (1024x768)Bare roots, black jack fig ($25), that tall bare stick to the left of the water butt, and an Austin pomegranate to the right ($20).  Threw some dirt around the roots while I wait a bit to plant them outside.

IMG_0564 (768x1024)three blueberry bushes here, some even have flower buds!  these came in small pots are intended for our zone 7 climate: Sunshine, southmoon, and misty. Each $12.50. right now, left them in their pots, gave them a hit of coffee (acid) water and will keep them in the greenhouse for awhile, but not too long!
