getting better all the time

When I started knitting these summer tops with the Berocco ReMix yarn, was working from a basic pattern for a 42” bust.  Used the written pattern for basic dimensions, like width, sleeve opening size, total length, etc.  My gauge was totally different, but am comfortable with the math.  The first sweater was WAAYY too loose.  shifted everything accordingly for the next, but still too loose.  Then  did one in purple which was very pleased with (all these mentioned tops are previously posted in this blog), but still felt there was room for improvement, and shifted everything again for this one.  Here I’m working with a minus 4” ease and also made the top longer.  Even the DH thought it looked good and he’s not said that about any of them, including the purple one.  Now I’m going to try a lightweight long sleeve one based on these measurements.
