IMG_0836 (1024x768)onions on the left, garlic on the right and shallots in the middle.  For some reason, the shallots came in looking more like the walking onions in shape; that is, like oversize scallions.  Since they are for me, its okay and I’ll just pull some of the smaller ones out for replanting later.  Garlic did okay, the smallest were grown in cooler, shadier conditions than the larger ones, though both were in the same size grow bag. 

Always learning.
